Good morning, dear readers! I hope this post finds you well and you had a wonderful weekend!

For today's post, I have the Gloss48 exclusive polishes made by Amy of Literary Lacquers. These polishes are beautiful, and I love the inspiration for them! Let's check out some swatches!

Miss Bennett

Miss Bennett is a bold peony pink holographic polish, and it is absolutely beautiful. I only needed two coats for opacity, and the formula was perfect.

Mr. Darcy

Mr. Darcy is a metallic gold linear holographic polish with these amazing gold flakies! This is probably my favorite from the duo because the flakies just make the polish look so interesting, even in dull lighting.

This exclusive Gloss48 duo is going to be released on May 7th, and to kick-start the release, this and other Literary Lacquer duos are going to be on sale for $16 plus shipping from May 7th through May 14th. There is nothing better than getting gorgeous polishes on a great deal! After the 14th, all duos will be sold at the regular price of $20 per pair plus shipping.

The Don Deeva Polishes: Swatches and Review

Good afternoon, dear readers, and happy Saturday! It is a beautiful sunny day here in Northern California, and I hope you are enjoying a nice day as well!

For today's post, I have a few polishes from The Don Deeva to share with you. Danette Marie, the designer and owner of the brand, has created a some really fun colours that I hope you enjoy. Let's check some of them out!

ICUUNV-ME

I love holographic polishes, but sometimes the intense linear holo is a little too much for me. ICUUNV-ME is the perfect solution for that problem! This beautiful blue scattered holo polish applied easily, and provided just the perfect amount of pizzazz. I'm actually wearing this one right now on my toes! :D I used two coats for these photos.

Holofied

I'm not really sure why, but I have been drawn lately to really dark polishes with glitters recently. It's not something I usually think of when I think of spring or summer, but I Holofied may be the most perfect black polish for the season. It contains brightly-coloured microglitters in pink, blue, purple, and lime, shades that definitely make me think of the season! It is on the sheer side- I used four coats for these photos (hey, I was committed!), so I would recommend layering it over another polish. The formula is also a little on the thin side, so be careful so you don't flood your cuticles. It was still pretty easy to work with, I just had to be mindful and work a little slower with this one than I normally do.

Glitter Vomit

I swatched Glitter Vomit by itself (no undies), and as you can tell, it is more of a layering polish than a stand-alone. I still had visible nail line with three coats in these swatch photos. I enjoy the glitters in this polish, but my favorite part is the flash of gold shimmer whenever I move my hands! It's quite pretty, and it will add a fun twist to another polish. Glitter Vomit is also a little on the thin side, so just work a little slower to not flood your cuticles.

Literary Lacquers: The Ultimate Outlaw Collection Swatches and Review, Part II

Good morning, dear readers! In my previous post, I swatched and reviewed half of the polishes from the Literary Lacquers The Ultimate Outlaw Collection. I have the remaining polishes to share with you today. Let's get to it!

The Ultimate Outlaw

I probably should have started my review of this collection the other day with the namesake of the collection, but of course I get this brilliant idea after the fact. C'est a vie, I suppose... The Ultimate Outlaw is a gorgeous sapphire blue linear holographic polish, and a polish every blue lover needs in their collection. Not a blue lover? I suspect this one just might change your mind; it is so bright and vibrant! The inspiration for this polish is Still Life with Woodpecker by Tom Robbins, and I used three coats for these swatch photos.

Fun fact: Amy has another beauty inspired by this same novel. I'm Drinking Stars is a beautiful champagne holographic polish from the Literary Liquors Collection!

And So I Step Up

I love this wine-coloured, glass-flecked polish! And So I Step Up is inspired by The Handmaid's Tail by Margaret Atwood, and it is perfect. It is definitely more complex upon further inspection. I've fairly recently become drawn more towards wine-coloured polishes, and this one is definitely a new favorite. I used three coats for these photos.

Everything You Love

A smoky deep lilac holographic polish? Sign me up! I love smoky purples, and this polish is exactly everything I love! Inspired by Alice Walker's The Color Purple, Everything You Love is beautiful and another favorite from this collection. I used three coats for these photos.

The Mad Ones

Last, but not least, is the lovely minty green holographic polish The Mad Ones inspired by Jack Kerouac's On the Road. This beautiful shade is just perfect for spring! I don't think it works particularly well with my skin tone, but rest assured, this colour is gorgeous! I used three coats for these photos.

Amy has created another amazing collection, and I don't think I could pick a single favorite. They all are stunning in their own right.
