Good afternoon, dear readers! I am really excited to share this gorgeous polish made by the lovely Amy of Literary Lacquers with you, and I hope you like it as much as I do! This is "More Like Fire Than Light", and it is part of Amy's latest collection, The Good Parts, a collection inspired by erotic fiction. This particular polish was inspired by Delta of Venus by Anais Nin, written in the 1940s and published after the author's death in 1977. The short stories in this collection were commissioned by a mysterious man known only as "The Collector". This stunning orange linear holo looks dark in the bottle, but it comes to life as soon as it is painted on the nails. I used three thin coats for these swatches, although I would have had full coverage with just two slightly thicker coats.
I absolutely loved this polish, and the formula was superb. The colour is nice and bright, perfect for spring and the upcoming summer months, although I can see myself wearing this beauty all year long. Amy has certainly wowed me with this polish, and I'm eager to swatch the rest of the polishes from the collection.
More Like Fire Than Light and other Literary Lacquers polishes can be purchased at the shop on etsy. Keep your eye on the Literary Lacquers Facebook page for shop announcements and reviews of the other polishes made by Amy.
Until next time, dear readers, have a wonderful evening! XOXO!
