I Scream, You Scream....

We all scream for ice cream!

Ok, now that I got that out of my system, I can actually go ahead and write this post. :)  For today's post, I have two polishes from You Polish's We All Scream collection to share.  I really wish technology was more advanced that computer screens could have scratch and sniff capabilities because these polishes, my dear readers, are scented and smell delicious!  I found myself with my hand next to my face frequently so I could smell my nails and that's not weird at all!  Surprisingly, for my nails smelling tasty, I didn't once feel the need to bite them.  That being said, had I missed lunch or dinner one day, I might be singing a different tune!  Let's check out the swatches!

Peanut Butter Cup
Hex glitters of dark and bronze-leaning browns in a pale tan base make this polish look just like the ice cream it is named after.  Add the scent of peanut butter, and I am in dessert heaven!  I used three coats of polish and then topped with a single layer of top coat for these photos.

Birthday Cake Surprise
Birthday cake surprise has a soft yellow base and a plethora of brightly coloured blue, red, orange, green, yellow, and purple glitters, and the scent is similar to a sweet buttercream frosting.  Yum! I used two coats of polish and one coat of top coat for these photos.

Application
I've swatched several polishes made by You Polish, and the first thing I immediately noticed about these was that the formula is much thinner than the others.  I'm not sure if it was intentional or the batch I received, but it is worth mentioning.  That being said, I found the thinner formula very easy to work with so the glitters would spread nicely across my nails, but I did have to be careful so I wouldn't have my cuticles flooded.  If I had a choice in formula, I actually prefer my polishes to be thinner like these since it does make the polish a little easier to work with when it comes to the glitters.  They both dried reasonably quickly- I allowed 10 minutes per coat, although I don't think they needed even that long.

Final thoughts
I really loved these polishes from You Polish, and they may be my favorite from the entire collection.  I'll be sharing swatches and reviews of the rest of the collection soon, so you'll get to check them out as well.  The crazy thing about these is I found that just smelling the deliciousness was enough to satisfy my sweet tooth!
