July has come to an end, and just like that, Cosmoprof North America is over. With almost 300,000 square feet of convention space and approximately 1,400 exhibitors, it can be easy to feel overwhelmed at this fast-paced business-to-business trade show. No matter how much planning I do, I can never see it all, but there is one stop I am always guaranteed to make each year: BOUTIQUE!
BOUTIQUE is an onsite beauty product sampling bar located in the highly trafficked foyer outside the convention floor. Limited to only 20 slots, show organizers carefully consider and select the submitted star products that will then be made available for selection by show attendees. Visitors to this sampling bar are then provided with a one-of-a-kind beauty bag and encouraged to select seven deluxe sample-sized items to curate their own sampling box. Once completed, a $10 donation is collected for each curated bag. The funds collected from BOUTIQUE are then donated to the Look Good Feel Better Foundation. The non-medical program teaches beauty techniques to women with cancer that are undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, and other forms of treatments. Lessons include skin care and cosmetics, nails, styling and accessories, and wigs and turbans, providing women the opportunity to have some normalcy in their lives during a difficult time.
It truly is the ultimate experience of customized beauty sampling, all for an incredible cause!
With so many incredible brands and products to choose from, it's definitely not easy to narrow it down to only 7 picks! This year's options were largely focused on skincare and haircare with only one nail and one makeup-type item.

It was such a pleasure to attend Cosmoprof North America last month, and I'm looking forward to sharing more details with you! I just wanted to start off the details with BOUTIQUE as it combines beauty and giving back, two very important things to me.
