No Virgin Should Ever Light the Black Flame Candle!

September is slowly coming to a close, and soon it will be Halloween everything at my house!  One of my favorite Halloween movies is "Hocus Pocus", and indie creator Sunny, of 365 Days of Color, has wowed me with her Halloween collection based on the movie.

In the odd chance that someone has been living under a rock for the past nineteen years, the movie is about three witches that are hung in their own time for kidnapping and stealing the life essence of children.  They cast a spell of the town that will bring them back to continue their evil deeds when a black flame candle is lit within their abode by a virgin.  Long story short, a virgin lights the candle three hundred years later, and both he, his little sister, and the girl he is interested in have to destroy the witches.  For those people that enjoy Halloween, but not horror movies [yes, somehow this is possible ;-) ], this is a cute and fun movie the whole family can enjoy.

Sunny sent me Black Flame Candle to swatch and review, and I was all to eager to do it for her!  I used three coats of colour and one coat of top coat for these photos.
Black Flame Candle is a build-able black jelly polish filled with microglitter that flashes silver and blue, and I am almost convinced I saw hints of green and pink in the mix.  What can I say other than this polish is just gorgeous!  Plain black creme polishes bore me to no end, and the microglitter truly does make all the difference.  It applied easily and smoothly for me, and it dried quickly as well.

Black Flame Candle and the rest of the Hocus Pocus collection are scheduled to be released September 21st (this Friday!) and will be available at Big Cartel.  You can also follow 365 Days of Color on Facebook for any updates and news on other upcoming collections.  Sunny is also a blogger, and you should definitely check out her blog too.  :)

I will leave you with one of my favorite quotes from the movie:

"You know, I've always wanted a child.  And now, I think I'll have one... on toast!" -Winifred Sanderson

Until next time, dear readers, stay good, or just don't get caught!  ;-)
