The Don Deeva Polishes: Swatches and Review, Part II

Good afternoon, dear readers! I have no idea how it happened, but it is Wednesday already; this week has been flying by! I've got family visiting this weekend, so it might be a little quiet on the blog front.

I had shared some swatches of polishes made by The Don Deeva in a previous post, and I have a few more to share with you today.

Dirty Snow
If you're going to have dirty snow, might as well make it pretty! I'm generally not a fan of white-based polishes as they look weird on me, but I do like the look of this one. The white crelly base is filled with a beautiful combination of teal, lavender, white, and gunmetal grey glitters; there is nothing dirty about this pretty polish! I used three coats for the photos above.

Bubble Gum Gangsta
I really like the bright bubble gum pink base shade of this polish! The brightly coloured glitters are a perfect addition to make it nice and spring-y, and it is complete with flowers! I'm not a huge fan of flower-shaped glitters, but I am loving the bright yellow diamonds! The glitters broke up pretty easily on my nails, and I didn't have any issues with fishing for glitters either. I used three coats for these photos.

Kickin Rocks
I love the look of Kickin Rocks! From the dark grey base to the sporadic brightly-hued glitters, to the round and star glitters mixed in, Kickin Rocks offers a little bit of colour and a lot of fun. The only downside to this polish for me is that the base hid some of the glitters from previous coats more than I would have liked. I used it alone for these photos (three coats), but I think I would like it more layered over something else. No fishing on this one for me- those glitters just jumped right to the brush!

Glittergasm
Glittergasm is very sheer and definitely a layering polish for me. It is filled with vibrantly-coloured glitters in different shades and shapes, but the best part are the blue stars. It's such a fun polish, and it will be great layered over other colours to add extra pizzazz! The glitters came out of the bottle and dispersed easily enough for me. Occasionally a few glitters would want to stick in the star corners, but they separated with a little extra attention. I used three coats for these photos.

These and other polishes can be purchased at The Don Deeva website. The Don Deeva is currently running a promotion on her shop: buy two bottles and get a third bottle free! Just leave a note to select your colour choice at checkout! Also, keep on eye on The Don Deeva's Facebook page and on Instagram for shop announcements.

Until next time, dear readers, have a wonderful day!
