Girly Bits Let's Do This!- A 3rd Blogiversary Custom Polish

Happy Saturday, dear readers! I am so excited to be sharing this post with you today! My blog is now three years old, and I had the pleasure of working with Pam from Girly Bits Cosmetics to create a shade to celebrate the occasion. Even though my blog is 3, this is the first official custom I've made made to celebrate my blog growing a year older. Naturally, it just had to be orange, and it was named after an expression I use here often: Let's Do This!. Now let me get to the reason you are actually here, and let's do this! ;)

Let's Do This! was inspired by the rich orange sunsets over the ocean I enjoyed watching with my husband during our honeymoon. It is an ever-so-slight dusty orange subtle under-holo with micro red glitters, micro purple flakies, gold flakies, and red-yellow flakes. While present, the glitter and flakies are subtle so that they catch the light when you look at your nails without overpowering the glowing orange base. Pam did the most amazing job bringing my vision to life; this polish truly is a sunset in a bottle!

In true Girly Bits fashion, Let's Do This! has a wonderful formula that was so easy to work with. I had no issues with application, and it was fully opaque in two coats. I also added a coat of top coat in the swatches shown here.

Let's Do This! and other Girly Bits shades I will be sharing next week will be launching on the Girly Bits website on February 16th. It will retail for $13 CAD, or approximately $10.50 USD given the current exchange rate.
