Greetings, dear readers, and Happy Star Wars day! I had wanted to create an elaborate nail art design for the occasion, but time sadly ran away with me and I was just barely able to paint my nails. Check it out!
I opted to pull out several Darling Diva Polish shades to create my simple manicure for today. Carrie has created two Star Wars-inspired collections, and I had a surprisingly difficult time narrowing down which polishes to wear today. In the end, I had to wear my beloved orange, Darling Diva Polish BB-8! I opted to pair it with the topper May The Force Be With You. While selecting these polishes, a non-Star Wars inspired DDP polish jumped out at me as the perfect base colour to pair with the topper: It's Ok If You Want To Drop Dead. I then sealed everything in with KBShimmer's Clearly on Top.
While I am a little sad I didn't get to go all out with today's Star Wars-inspired manicure, I'm still glad I was able to give these polishes some love today. Hopefully I'll be much better prepared and less exhausted next year to make up for this year's basic look.
Did you do something special for a May the Fourth look? I'd love to hear what you came up with!
Until next time, dear readers, May the Fourth be with you!
XO!

I didn't do a May 4th mani. I'm in the middle of major swatch and cleaning fests. That orange is fantastic!
