In spite of a year having past and many changes in my daily life, it doesn't quite feel another year has come and gone. How are we back to January all over again? Some days feel like they take forever, but the year sure did fly by! Now on to today's blog post!
Earlier this week, I reviewed some products by The Vintage Cosmetic Company. Today, I have two more to share with you. I also have a giveaway of your own set at the end of this post so be sure to keep following along until the end to enter!
Smokey Eye Brush Set
A year ago, I had a handful of makeup brushes that I used and loved. Since then, I have become obsessed with brushes and am always trying out new-to-me ones. The Vintage Cosmetic Company provided me with this eye brush trio to try out, and is it a great little set! I've been using this set a lot, and I especially love it for my natural day-to-day look!
The first brush is a standard shadow brush. Densely packed, the soft bristles pick up plenty of shadow and places perfectly on my eyelids. This brush is roughly the size of my lids so application goes quickly, depending on how intense of a look I want and what shadows I am using.
Step 2 is an angled shadow brush, and until using this set, it has actually been years since I've used this type of brush. After picking up eyeshadow, it fits into my crease beautifully to lay down colour.
The final brush in this trio is a smudger brush, and my personal favorite kind of brush for when it comes to adding colour under the eye. While I do on occasion break out an eyeliner, I much prefer to use a smudge brush along my lash line. I just love that this brush is part of this set!
This has been my go-to look lately! I've been enjoying keeping my eyes more natural and adding a pop of colour to my lips. This eye brush set has been the perfect trio for a simple and quick eye look!
Dotty Makeup Headband
How cute is this headband! You can never go wrong with polka dots, and I love the combination of the darker pink with the white!
Whether you need to keep your hair out of the way for makeup application or to wash your face at the end of the day, this headband is the perfect solution. The elastic of the band is sufficiently stretchy so it conforms to my head easily without feeling too loose or too tight. I also like that the band is wider so it serves to really keep hair out of the way.
Until now, I have been using the same pirate headband for longer than I care to admit, but this stretchy headband has me converted. It is so stretchy and comfortable, and there is no denying it is a cute touch! I'm loving having this as a new part to my beauty routine!

I don't have that headband yet but I hope to find it at Ulta this week. The brushes are really nice and so girly. Vintage Cosmetics is wonderful and unique.
