For Goodness Grape Body Mist Review

Press Sample

Greetings, dear readers! If you have been with me for a little while, you might remember this post where I reviewed lip balms made by For Goodness Grape. Lisa also makes body mists, and I have the pleasure of sharing them with you today. Let's get to it!

The body mists can be purchased in either 4oz or 10mL size. I chose two 10mL mists so I can use them when I travel and keep one in my purse. It also let me try out two different scents that sounded interesting to me. ;)
First Thoughts
The first thing I want to mention about these body mists is just how nicely they are packaged! The labels are brightly coloured and securely attached to the spray bottles. I really love when businesses pay attention to the details, and the vibrant colours used on the labels makes these body mists look classy and professional. I definitely have a love of nice packaging, and these little spray bottles certainly grabbed my attention!
Another feature that I noticed and really liked is that the spray bottles were securely wrapped in plastic until you open them. If you have never opened up a package to find broken perfume or other scented items you might not appreciate it as much, but trust me, knowing that they were securely sealed is a bonus for me!

Application
These mists truly are mist-like. The spray that came out of the nozzle was very fine and dispersed nicely on the skin. I'm a little sensitive to scents so I just sprayed one pump on my wrist and forearm and rubbed my empty wrist against it to spread the scent. Just with this single application, I could still smell the fragrance about six hours later. At seven hours I couldn't smell it any longer and was ready for a little touchup. I was quite impressed by the longevity given how little I applied, and I suspect had I used more it would have lasted longer.

Scent
Just a quick note on scent: Whenever I review this type of product, I prefer to not review the scent unless it is available in only one fragrance and the fragrance is designed by the company. For Goodness Grape offers a VERY large variety of fragrances that could be used listed herehere, and here (flavor oils on this last link are not for fragrance/perfume type items), and there is something that can appeal to anyone's taste. Rather, I prefer the focus to be on the product as a whole: how does it go on and how long it lasts, for example, because I would rather not sway your thoughts on a product due to my personal choice in fragrance. That being said, here is a little information on the fragrances I selected:

Doni: described as a fabulous fragrance that is sensual, sweet, and feminine. This particular scent was actually designed by Lisa and one of her customers, and it has been a big hit! It is a blend of amber, sandalwood, and raspberry, and I strongly encourage you to try it. Doni does go on a little strong at first, but it mellows out as you wear it. I really enjoy this scent, and my husband loves it!

Red Lipstick: described as a sassy scent that lives up to its name. Notes of dark sweet cherry, violet, sweet coumarin, pink raspberry, light brown sugar, cotton candy, sensual musk, and a hint of French creme and tonka bean. I really like this scent as well, and I find it to be sassy and playful.

Final Thoughts
I've always been pleased with the products I have tested from For Goodness Grape, and these body mists were no exception. From the beautiful packaging to the gorgeous scents, they are sure to please everyone!

  1. Great review! I really appreciate how you left your feeling on the smell out of it since it's such a personal thing anyway. Nice job and you are so right about the packaging.
