Good almost afternoon, dear readers, and Happy 4th of July! It has been a quiet and slow day thus far at The Jedi household, and I couldn't be happier about that! I'm not sure yet if we'll be participating in any of the events planned today or tomorrow as both my son and I are still sick, but quiet time at home with the family still sounds nice to me.
For today's blog post, I have a beautiful polish to share with you made by Jill of Glisten & Glow. Oh yes, the supplier of my beloved HK Girl top coat and cuticle products has recently released her own polish! Naturally, I had to pick one up as soon as it was available for purchase, and I'm glad I did! It is gorgeous! Check this out!
I Love You to the Blue and Back has a lovely steel-coloured holographic base with varying shades and shapes of blue and white glitters mixed in. The assortment of glitters keep it very interesting when you are indoors and far from sunlight, and the holo really shows through as soon as you step outdoors on a bright sunny day. A few of the glitters were gung-ho about staying attached to each other, but as you can see in the photos above, they spread nicely over my nails with a little extra attention. I used two coats of polish before topping it up with HK Girl top coat.
There are still bottles of this lovely polish available at Jill's store! If you're a fan of blue polishes, you'll want to snag this one before it is gone. Only 30 bottles were made, and when they are gone, it's not coming back.
