Serum No. 5 Another Year, Let's Cheer Anniversary Polish

Good evening, dear readers! I have Serum No. 5's anniversary polish, Another Year, Let's Cheer on the blog tonight. While at Cosmoprof North America, I had the pleasure of getting to meet Victoria, the mastermind behind the brand. She was incredibly sweet, and it made me love her brand even more. Victoria gifted me a bottle of her soon-to-be-released anniversary polish, and I am so excited to be sharing photos of it with you! Let's get to some pictures! I'll follow up with details afterwards.

Another Year, Let's Cheer is a fun glow in the dark glitter topper using Serum No. 5's colours of white, peach, grey, and black. I had initially planned to swatch this over a light grey base, but I could not find the one I knew I had hiding in my collection somewhere. Instead, I swatched it over Zoya Shay, a frosty peach shade. To apply Another Year, Let's Cheer, I dabbed the brush over my nails to break up and place the glitters were I wanted them. This polish is densely packed with glitter- I only used a coat for these photos, but the glitters dispersed quite easily and nicely. The finish was gritty due to all the glitters, and I finished off my adding top coat to smooth my nails out.

I really love this polish on my nails! It is something fun I could picture a bride wearing on her wedding day- the colour combination is so elegant, and the final look is beautiful! To get the glow in the dark effect, I charged my nails for 15 seconds under a bright daylight bulb. The glow effect lasted for several hours, and I fell asleep long before it had worn off. I actually woke up at some point in the middle of the night and my nails were still glowing brightly. I might have panicked for a second or two before I remembered what I had painted on my nails. ;)
