Zoya Naturel Satins: Swatches and Review

Press Sample

Good afternoon, dear readers! I hope this post finds you well, and you have been enjoying the weekend! For today's post I have the Zoya Naturel Satins to share with you. Since my thoughts about the formulas are the same for all the polishes, I'm going to switch things up a little and just start out by posting the photos and my comments after I have completed the set. Let's do this!

Ana
Light toasted almond

Brittany
Rose mauve cream

Leah
Lavender tinged taupe

Rowan
Creamy suede taupe

Sage
Mossy sage green

Tove
Misty slate grey

The Zoya Naturel Satins have an interesting finish when they are dry- they have a slight shininess to them but not quite as much as their usual polishes. They also have a matteness to them, but it's also not to the degree as their matte collections. The satin finish truly is a hybrid between the glossy and matte finishes I love from Zoya.

The formula was a little different for me, and as you might be able to tell in these photos, they were a little tricky to work with. The formula was on the thinner side to start, and you really have to be careful to prevent flooding into your cuticles. As I would continue to apply the polish down the nail bed, the polish would get thick very quickly so my overall finish wasn't quite as smooth as I would have preferred. I'm not sure if I was having an "off" swatch day or if these polishes are just going to require a little more practice or if I just needed to apply the polish a little faster. The finish is still very interesting, and I really do like these muted colours as a transition from winter to spring. I used two coats of polish for all of these swatch photos.

These polishes are currently available for purchase at Zoya.com.

Until next time, dear readers, have a wonderful day!
XO!
