Sweet Heart Polish: Sweet Summer Memories and Second Shopiversary Polish

Good evening, dear readers! I hope you've had a great start to the weekend! I wanted to get this post up earlier today, but I'm obviously running a little behind. I'm so sorry about that! For this evening's post, I wanted to share the new Sweet Summer Memories Collection by Sweet Heart Polish in addition to the new shopiversary polish. Let's check them all out! I'm going to start off the with Sweet Summer Memories Collection.

County Fair
Three coats plus top coat

County Fair is arguably my favorite from this four-piece collection. As much as I like neons, the colours are often a little brighter than I feel comfortable wearing all the time, and the pops of neon glitters in the white base are perfect! I love the mix of colours, and the glitters spread pretty nicely over my nails. This dried to a slight textured finish because of the glitters, but top coat smoothed out my nails perfectly.

Under the Boardwalk

Under the Boardwalk has an interesting pastel glitter composition, most notably lavender, light green, and baby blue. It is such a pretty polish, and I wish it played a little nicer with my olive skin tone! Under the Boardwalk was my favorite in the bottle, and it will look amazing on cooler skin tones! I especially love the pale green shimmer in this base! The glitters dispersed nicely for me, and again, to a slight texture that smooths out with top coat.

At the Drive-In

At the Drive-In was another favorite for me- I just love the purple and teal glitters in the crelly! The glitters are a little more densely packed so you get more glitter payout with fewer coats. I used three coats here because I wanted to load up on these pretty glitters; I added top coat to smooth out my nails

Fireworks!
Three coats plus top coat

Fireworks is a fun combination, and I really like the occasional star that appeared while I was painting my nails! The stars are more sparse than the other glitters, but I did not have to fish for the few I did get on my nails here. The flashes of pink shimmer adds a beautiful touch of colour to the base as well!

Two Be Berry Sweet
Two coats over Precision Nail Lacquer Sandstorm plus top coat

Ahhhh!!!! I am absolutely in love with this second shopiversary celebratory polish! The raspberry jelly base is gorgeous, and I am going gaga over the glitter combination! Two Be Berry Sweet is on the sheer side, and I opted to swatch this over a polish that is an almost dead-on match for my skin tone as a different branded polish I swatched earlier stained my nails yellow. I felt you would prefer more colour accurate photos. Two coats on its own will still show some nail line, so you'll want to either add another coat or two or start with a base shade as well. It does dry to a slight textured finish, but top coat smoothed my nails out easily.

I am really excited about the new crelly collection in addition to the second shopiversary polish! Both the collection and the celebratory shade are scheduled to launch at the Sweet Heart Polish Etsy shop on May 18th at 8am PST. That's this Monday, so just a day and a half or so away!

Be sure to follow Sweet Heart Polish on Facebook and Instagram for shop news, announcements, and even more photos!

Until next time, dear readers, have a wonderful evening and enjoy the rest of the weekend!
XO!
