Happy 4th of July!

Good morning, dear readers! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend! It's a 3-day weekend here for my hubby, but we're sticking around town and cleaning up and organizing the house in preparation for the baby coming this summer. Sounds like fun, right? I'm crossing my fingers I don't end up with bad nail breaks as I tackle unpacking boxes from our move still. Wish me luck!

For today's post, I naturally had to share the nail art look I created for the holiday weekend. Let's check it out!
Nail Polishes and Products Used:
Above the Curve Nail Lacquer: Jingle Bell Rock
Black Cat Lacquer: Lapis Lazuli
Salon Perfect: Pa-tri-otic
Zoya: Genesis
Zoya: Ling

In other news, I had mentioned in a recent post that we were taking care of a stray kitten- plumping her up while we tried to locate her owner. We had no luck finding an owner, and after a trip to the vet to make sure she was healthy and bathing her, we decided to keep her. Meet my blog mascot, Calypso! She's curled up in my lap purring as I type up my post, and she has made herself right at home.

What are your plans this weekend? Have you done a holiday manicure? I'd love to hear from you!

Until next time, dear readers, have a wonderful day!
XO!

    1. I wish I could say I got a lot accomplished, but I'm afraid we still have a bit to do yet. At least we got about a dozen boxes taken care of! Calypso has settled in nicely although it is funny to see my rottweiler mix be so afraid of a 2 pound kitten, lol!
