Lyn B Designs The Trinity Mini Collection

Press Sample

Good evening, dear readers! I hope you are having a wonderful week thus far! I had my surgery yesterday, and I am now back at home recovering. I've been banished to either my bedroom or the couch so I can heal while my mother-in-law takes care of my boys. That also means I have a little free time to write without interruption! Yay! I have to take advantage of that, so let's do this!
Today's post is for all your Potter fans! Who am I kidding, it's for all the holo polish fans too! Lyn B Designs is releasing a mini collection later this month featuring holographic nail polishes inspired by our favorite trio from the Harry Potter series. Let's check them out!

Potter
Intense black linear holo with deep purple glass flecks

Wowsa! I love love love black polishes when the weather cools down for fall and winter, and Potter is certainly a beauty! I'm going crazy for the dark purple flashes from the glass flecks. The formula was a little on the thick side which made it a little trickier to work with, but a couple drops of thinner fixed it for me. I used three coats plus topcoat for these photos. I almost got away with using two coats, but I was convinced I still saw a little bit of visible nail line.

Granger
Creamy deep pink linear holo with pink glass flecks

Now this is my kind of pink! I adore this deeper pink colour, and the glass flecks are awesome! They are more obvious than shown here but for some reason my camera just couldn't get a great shot of the beautiful flecks. The formula was flawless, and I used three thin coats plus topcoat for these photos.

Weasley
Pumpkin orange linear holo with golden flecks

Yay for orange! I'm quite fond of this shade and fell in love with this stunner as well. The formula was fantastic and easy to work with. It is a little on the sheer side, and I still had visible nail line showing with the three coats plus topcoat I used for these photos. You might want to layer this over a similar shade or add a fourth coat if you prefer an opaque look.

I feel like I should have a favorite from this mini collection, but I can't pick just one. All three shades are gorgeous and must haves for every Potter fan and holo lover.

The Trinity Collection launches on the Lyn B Design etsy shop here September 25th at 7pm EST. You can also follow Lyn B Designs on Facebook here for shop announcements and even more photos.

Until next time, dear readers, have a great night!
XO!

    1. I'm a little picky about pinks, but Granger is the perfect shade of pink. It's stunning!
