Good morning, dear readers! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I finally seem to be in the mood to do holiday nail art this year. I suddenly have so many designs I want to do and not enough time to do them all. I guess doing my Star Wars holiday nail art design is what it took to get me in the spirit! Now on to today's post!
One of my favorite holiday traditions is to watch A Charlie Brown Christmas at least once in December. My toddler really seems to have developed an appreciation for Snoopy's antics over the past few months, and I love hearing him giggle watching him! I was inspired by the simplicity and brightness of the aluminum Christmas trees, and I decided to do my own version on my nails. What could be better than the new China Glaze Cheers! Holiday collection! Check it out!
I started out with China Glaze Liquid Leather and then added a coat of Coal Hands, Warm Heart. I them added my trees using Mix and Mingle, Better Not Pout, Don't Get Elfed Up, Peppermint To Be, Bring on the Bubbly, Ugly Sweater Party, and I Soiree I Didn't Do It. I then used a coat of Gelous to help smooth my nails out and then topped it all off with top coat.
I'm kind of digging this look! It's not quite something I would normally do, but it was fun going out of my normal comfort zone to create something so colourful and festive without being too over the top Christmas.
What do you think of this look? What holiday designs will you be wearing?
Until next time, dear readers, have a wonderful day!
XO!
