Ever After Polish: Introducing the new Stamping Polishes!

Press Sample

Greetings, dear readers! It's been a little quieter than normal on the blog the past week, but I ended up needing to take it a little easy after my trip to New York and spend some quality time with the family. I tried to push through the exhaustion after my trip and keep up with my posts, but I mentally and physically hit a dead end and had to step back for a day or two to actually recharge my batteries instead of living in survival mode. I'm definitely feeling much more like myself now and may be kicking myself for not doing it a little sooner. Better a little late than never though, right? Now on to today's post before I ramble the day away!

If you attended Polish Con New York in April, you had the opportunity to pick up the new Ever After Polish stamping polishes before their release online! For today's blog post, I have the pleasure of sharing these shades with you. The introductory Ever After Polish stamping line consists of a basic black and two colourful hues for your stamping needs. Since a popular question when it comes to stamping polishes is how does it stamp over black and/or white, I chose to stick to the basics for this post, but you best believe I have some nail art I intend to create with these babies! Let's check them out!

Black Magic

When I originally planned to use this design, I intended to add colour to the final look, but I loved the simplicity of the black and white so much I opted to enjoy this nail art look like this. Black Magic has a great consistency- thin enough to get the polish in the grooves of my stamping plate but still thick enough that it yields dark marks when stamped. This polish worked really nicely when I tested with a few random images on single nails, but this particular stamping plate isn't etched particularly deeply so it took several tries to get this to stamp properly. The stamping plate is entirely at fault for some of the thinner stamped spots on my nails, but I did want to address the situation briefly here. My black stamping polishes are the most frequently used, and Black Magic will be getting a lot of love across a range of stamping plate brands! My first impression is that it's a great stamping polish!

Tealing Up My Heart

I am so excited to see this shade as part of the inaugural stamping line! It's so perfect for spring and summer designs! The formula is impeccable and I had this stamped on my nails in just a few seconds! It shows nicely against both white and black bases as well, and you can bet this polish is going to be a work horse in my future stamping nail art designs!

I Ain't Saying She A Gold Digger

While I Ain't Saying She A Gold Digger is gorgeous against a white base, it is swoon worthy over black! I was a little taken back by how different this stamping polish looked against the two backgrounds but I love how it looks both ways. I was also pleasantly surprised at how easily this stamped for me. I've not always had a lot of success with stamping polishes that contain shimmers, but I Ain't Saying She A Gold Digger stamped easily with each attempt. This is another must have polish for your stamping collection!

I really enjoyed trying out the new Ever After Polish stamping polishes, and I am so eager to see the nail art designs everyone comes up with using these beauties! I know I certainly have a lot of ideas myself and look forward to implementing them soon!

These stamping polishes will be launching on Friday at 8pm EST on the BRAND NEW Ever After Polish website located here. Please note that the new website will not open for public viewing until Friday morning (8am EST) so you'll have to wait a few more days to check it out. Even though the new site won't be available until Friday, the old Ever After website (located here) will be reopening TODAY at 5pm EST and be stocked with Dragon Eggs, Mother of Dragons, and remaining Limited Edition Indie Shop overpours. These polishes are exquisite so if you don't have them, today is a good day to pick them up!

What do you think of the new Ever After stamping polishes? Do you have a favorite shade you want to pick up with the launch on Friday? I'd love to hear what you think!

Until next time, dear readers, have a wonderful day!
XO!
