Greetings, dear readers, and happy Monday! I hope you enjoyed your weekend and this week is off to a great start! Mine was pretty quiet overall as I've been trying to get a little extra rest to recover from yet another cold while tackling a few things on my to-do list. I'm thankful for the beautiful sunny day we had yesterday as we've got more rain in the forecast this week. I'm sure I'm not the only one that is eager for the return of a true spring! Until I have the sun out in the sky and colourful flowers blooming more often, I have a gorgeous springy collection to share with you! Let's check it out!
Jenna, the creative mastermind behind LynB Designs, has been busy designing a collection inspired by none other than Lisa Frank! I distinctly recall the days of my youth shopping for school supplies and deliberating over the colourful images to determine which items I wanted to admire throughout the year. Once school started, my schoolmates and I would compare the different designs and ooh and aah over them all over again. Needless to say, I was ecstatic when I heard of this collection, and I am eager to share them with you! Let's get a closer look at each of the five shades from the first part of the Let's Be Frank Collection.
Echo Fabulous
A green leaning teal base with violet to pink to red to gold shifting shimmer and blue glass flecks.
While all five shades on this collection are beautiful, Echo Fabulous was the one that first caught my eye. This springy shade screams tropical islands to me; since that is my preferred vacation destination, it comes as no surprise that this was the first shade I had to put on my nails. The formula is pretty easy to work with, although the first two coats went on a little unevenly. A third coat had this polish self-leveling nicely.

Cleocatra Comin at Ya
A deep purple base with pink/gold glass flecks, bright pink galaxy holo, and pink to blue to purple shimmer.
I am a huge fan of glass flecks in my polish, and I particularly love this combination with the purple base. My bottle arrived with the lid slightly ajar, and while there was no leaking, I suspect the air exposure was responsible for the thicker formula I experienced with this beauty. In its thick state, the application was a little tricky and uneven. I'm sure this will apply better after having a few drops of polish thinner added.

May the Forrest be With You
A warm orange base with pink to orange to gold shimmer, a scattering of purple glass flecks, and purple holo microglitters.
This is such a glorious shade, but then it's no secret that I love all things orange. The formula is a little on the thicker side, but it is still easy to apply to the nails. The first coat went on a little unevenly, but the second leveled out perfectly.

Max-Imum Splash
A bright pinky base with linear holo, pink to purple to blue shimmer, and blue/green iridescent glitters.
Hello, beautiful! While orange my be the shade that normally has my heart, Max-Imum Splash is arguably my favorite shade in this collection. This polish is so vibrant and makes me think of the flowers I keep waiting to see pop up this spring. The formula was fantastic with this beauty- not too thick or thin for my preference, it applied flawlessly to the nails.

Spotty and Dotty All Over
A white crelly base with cyan to blue to purple to red shimmer and holo glitters in all sizes.
Calling all white crelly fans, do I have the polish for you! Spotty and Dotty All Over is a gorgeous polish, and I especially love the added shimmer in the base! The formula is overall easy to work with, but it does require a little extra patience as expected from a white polish. The first two coats are a little uneven, and a third coat helped to even out the polish in the nails. While there is still a hint of unevenness with three coats, a layer of top coat adds the final leveling effect needed.
