Good evening, dear readers! I have some fun news to share with you tonight, and I hope you are just as excited about it as I am! DIFFERENT dimension is launching a new series, called Shooting Stars, starting this upcoming Friday night! Polishes that are part of this series will be very limited edition: they will be part of a one-time release and only 30 to 60 bottles of each colour will be made. The Shooting Stars series will be released bi-weekly for the time being with times being announced on social media. DIFFERENT dimension has quickly become one of my favorite indie polish brands- the polish is beautiful and Missi, the mastermind behind the brand, is such a sweetheart! I am elated to have the first two Shooting Stars to share with you tonight, and they are gorgeous!

These photos just do not do Andromeda justice. This maroon-leaning red polish is to die for! I've been trying to find my perfect red holographic polish for a couple of years now, and I have finally found it! I totally squealed when I first put it on my nails, and I am getting excited all over again writing this post. This red based polish also boasts red shimmer to dazzle you even more. If you're a fan of red polishes, you're going to need to grab this beauty! I used two flawless coats for these photos.
Cepheus
One of the reasons I love DIFFERENT dimension polishes so much is because Missi makes some of the coolest flake-filled polishes. Cepheus is an amazing shade, and I love all the flakes in this stunner! Because it is so densely packed with flakes, it dries to a slight textured finish. I used two coats for opacity plus top coat for these photos. For a slightly more subtle look, I recommend using a single coat over a base shade. I have no issues with this formula to report; the application was easy and the flakes dispersed nicely.
I'm always looking forward to seeing what DIFFERENT dimension has in store for us, and now that there will be new colours released bi-weekly, I am ecstatic! I love that the first two polishes from the Shooting Stars series have different finishes, and I hope to see this sort of variety with the next colours!
