Good morning, dear readers! I have something a little different to share with you today, and I hope you are able to help out with this fundraising campaign. Tomorrow morning, I will be participating in my local Out of the Darkness walk to raise money for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. To raise funds for this noble cause, I asked several indie nail polish artists to create polish for this event. It is through this team effort that Lacquer for Life was born. I have been astonished at the number of donors to this cause, and several of these amazing people have shared their stories with me. So often, we visit our nail polish communities in an effort to escape the negative parts of our lives, and we admire each other's lovely nails. Let's make this weekend different. Whether you've lost somebody to suicide, have considered suicide yourself, or just want to help others when they are feeling at their lowest, you can help by donating to the Lacquer for Life Out of the Darkness walk. This is first and foremost a fundraiser, but one lucky person will win an amazing prize pack. Most of these polishes were created exclusively for this event, and they will not be available for purchase. To qualify for the raffle, donors must donate to the Lacquer for Life walk here and fill out the rafflecopter shown either on this blog post or on the giveaway tab on the Lacquer for Life Facebook page here. Please note that there are no following requirements for my blog, the Lacquer for Life page, or the pages of any of the indies that have donated. Without further ado, these are the polishes that will be sent to the raffle winner. All polishes sent to the winner will be new and unused.

Donations should be made here to the Lacquer for Life fundraiser. For every $5 donated to the walk, you earn one entry for the raffle. You can earn entries for donations in the amount of $5, $10, $15, $20, $25, and $50. The limit is 10 entries for $50, but you may donate more if you would like. Donating more than $50 does not increase the odds of winning the raffle. Please identify the dollar amount in the rafflecopter that best matches your donation. Participants that falsify their entries will be disqualified and not eligible to win the polish prize pack. Odds of winning increases with number of entries, but donating and entering the rafflecopter does not guarantee winning the prize. Must be 18 years or older and valid in your location. Void where prohibited. The winner will be contacted within 24 hours of verified entry for a mailing address. Some of the prizes are shipping directly from their respective donors, and the mailing address will be shared with these additional parties. The winner will have one week to respond to the winning email to claim the prizes. Failure to do so will forfeit the prize and another winner will be selected. The large polish prize pack will be sent via USPS within two business days of receiving a valid address. Polishes will be wrapped as securely as possible, but I am not responsible for damages incurred by USPS. Thank you so much for your donation, and good luck if you are participating in the raffle!
thank you to everyone who is involved in this. it means a hell of a lot!
ReplyDeleteIt's a win win....I'm proud to donate, but even if I don't win, knowing it will help those who fight against the dark is huge. Bless you Jen.
ReplyDeleteGAH!! this is the most epic prize pack!! Mountains of gorgeousness!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for this giveaway. I suffer from depression. I am a survivor of suicide. Unfortunately, I have probably lost as many people to natural death as I have to suicide. I wish you luck tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great prize pack.. and donated for such a worthy cause. Hope the little I give truly helps.

Definitely a cause that needs more recognition. I've watched two friends, who even though they outwardly seemed as if the world was theirs, were inwardly locked in a horrible battle that each ultimately lost. It's absolutely heartbreaking.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Amy M.
