Ellagee: Calla Lily and the Valentine's Glitz Duo

Good morning, dear readers, and happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! My husband was out of town all last week so the weekend was filled with family time; my boys certainly missed their daddy! It was sunny and the weather wasn't too cold, and we spent a lot of time outside at various parks. This week looks like it is going to be nice as well, and I am happy about that! Both the toddler and I were going crazy with all the rain we've had so we're going to take advantage of the dry days while we can!

For today's blog post, I wanted to share with you Cally Lily, an older shade by Ellagee. Check it out!
Described as a soft sheer ivory with subtle silver and pink shimmer, this polish is gorgeous for when you want a delicate and feminine look. I had the hardest time capturing the shimmer, but you can see it in the closeup. It's fairly dense on the nail and gorgeous! The formula of Calla Lily was really nice. It went on a little patchy with the first two coats, as expected from this sort of colour, but it leveled out perfectly with a third coat.

In a previous post, I reviewed the new ellagee Valentine's Glitz duo. I wore it alone with a few carefully placed coats for blinged-out nails, but I wanted to share what Je T'aime and Galentine's Day look like layered over a base shade. Calla Lily was the perfect base colour so I had to wear the duo again. They all play so beautifully together!
I love the look of the glitters in the duo together as well! I used about a coat of Je T'aime and Galentine's Day on my index finger and pinky respectively. I also dabbed each shade on my middle and rings fingers with a littlest bit of overlap of the shades. I then added topcoat to smooth my nails.

All three of these shades are available for purchase now at the ellagee website here. First time shoppers can save 5% off a minimum $35 for their first order as well! I recommend all three of these shades, especially with Valentine's Day here in two weeks!

Until next time, dear readers, have a wonderful day!
XO!
