Happy Monday, dear readers! This is the first time in a long time that I'm not surprised it is a Monday. It was a very productive weekend for me, and I am happy to report that I got a lot accomplished. Does that feel good! Something must be in the air because while I usually am able to get tasks completed, I have been in in overdrive and have done more than usual. Whatever it is, I am running with it and keeping the momentum going! Now let's jump on in to today's blog post!
I have the gorgeous Carnival Collection by Anonymous Lacquer to share with you, and I hope you enjoy these vibrant shades as much as I do! Let's check them out!
King Momo
Two coats plus top coat
Bright red/pink with purple flash ultra holo
I would say this is my favorite shade from the collection, but I might be saying that about all of them. Not quite red but not quite pink either, this shade is for those of you that love raspberry reds, and I certainly am one of them! I really love the purple flash as well. This shade is certainly a must-have for any collection! The formula was really nice and applied easily for me without any issues.
Party at the Palazzo
Two coats plus top coat
Medium toned grey ultra holo with pink, purple, and blue micro flakes
Ok, this is my favorite from the collection! I don't have anything quite like it in my collection, and the micro flakes have me swooning! The formula of this one was a little thicker than the rest of the collection, but it still was easy for me to apply. If you have short nails and tend to use thick coats, you may find you only need a single coat if your bottle is from a slightly thicker batch like mine.
Midnight Mask
Two coats plus top coat
Bright purple ultra holo with slight pink shift
Midnight Mask is such a pretty shade of purple, and I'm really loving this shade for this month in particular! I always equate this type of purple with Halloween, and I'm hoping to be able to create a fun spooky look with this beauty if I can find a little extra time. The formula was on point and applied perfectly!
Fat Tuesday
Three coats plus top coat
Bright green ultra holo with gold flash and green/gold micro flakes
I cannot help but look at this polish and think of slimy ooze- I'm definitely in the Halloween spirit this year! I really love the look of bright greens, and this shade is perfect whether you want Halloween-inspired nails or just want something bright just about any time of year! The formula of Fat Tuesday was a little thinner than the rest of the shades I tested, and while I had no problems with it, you may need to be mindful so you don't have any cuticle flooding. Also, this is the shade where you're likely going to still need three coats even if you usually use thick polish coats. Trust me, it's well worth it!

Samba Like Van Gogh
Two coats plus top coat
Blue ultra holo
What a beautiful shade of blue, and how awesome is this name! This polish has so much depth that I can get lost staring into the blue for far longer than I care to admit. At least this blog is read by fellow nail polish fans so you at least understand where I am coming from! The formula was impeccable and applied perfectly!
I used all the shades of The Carnival Collection on my accent nail and kind of smooshed them together with an extra dab here and there. I then found a single little mask water decal (I believe it was from Born Pretty Store, although I may be wrong as I've had it for a long time) that begged to top my nail. How could I say no to the perfect accompaniment to an Anonymous Lacquer nail?
The Carnival Collection is available for purchase at the Anonymous Lacquer website located here. I keep trying to pick a single favorite to recommend, but I just love all five shades so much for different reasons. And that, dear readers, is how you end up becoming a nail polish hoarder!
What are your top picks from this collection? Are any of them saying "buy me now!'? I'd love to hear from you!
Until next time, dear readers, have a wonderful day!
XO!
