Ellagee: Multichrome Madness Customs for June 2017

Press Sample

Greetings, dear readers, and happy hump day! I hope you're enjoying your summer and staying cool if you live somewhere hot! Like many areas in the US, we're having a heat wave here in Northern California with the temperature in the 100s even before the official start of summer. Air conditioners aren't particularly common in the homes where I live, so you best believe I am thankful to have one! Of course when the power goes out, it makes for some hot days, not to mention no light setup for photography and bubbling nails due to the sweltering heat. It has kept me from getting work done on the blog already so I'm crossing my fingers that the power outages are far and few in between this summer! Now that I've rambled on for a bit, let's get into the real reason you're here: Ellagee Polish!

If you are a member of the Multichrome Madness Facebook group, you may already be familiar with this month's custom offerings by Ellagee. If not, let me fill you in! Laura, the creative mastermind behind the brand, has created two stunning multichrome polishes that are available for purchase this month by group members. If you love multichromes, you're going to want to join the group and pick up these beauties! Let's check them out!

Fireside Wine
Two coats plus top coat

Magenta base with shifts of copper, red, fuchsia, and violet plus bright pink sparkle

I'm not gonna lie, with this heat wave, the last thing I want to think about is sitting by a fire, even if it does include drinking wine! It is the perfect name for it though since it really captures the aspects of drinking a glass of wine by a crackling fire. The formula is a little on the thicker side, but I still found it to be ultra creamy and easy to apply to the nails. This is definitely a great option for date night although you may have to remind yourself to take your eyes off your nails and interact with your date.

Rhapsody in Blue
Two coats plus top coat

Royal blue base with shifts of emerald, teal, blue, and purple plus bright turquoise sparkle

Rhapsody in Blue is my personal favorite of these two shades, but that isn't a big surprise as I tend to be biased towards this shift combination. This polish is truly remarkable, and I adore the turquoise sparkle as an added twist! The formula of Rhapsody in Blue was not as thick as the formula in Fireside Wine, and it practically applies itself as the ultra smooth polish glides off the brush.

Fireside Wine and Rhapsody in Blue are available for purchase NOW at ellagee.com. The listing is at an inflated price to keep non-members of the Multichrome Madness Facebook group from purchasing these, either as a duo or individually. If you wish to purchase these, please join the group. There is a discount code posted in the Facebook group to bring these down to their normal price point. Both these shades are being made in batches and have scheduled shipping dates. The next shipping days are June 26th and July 3rd. Be sure to get those orders in this month so you don't miss out on these beauties!

Are you a member of the Multichrome Madness group? Which of these shades is your favorite? I'd love to hear from you!

Until next time, have a wonderful day!

XO!

  4. Both are so beautiful and swatches beautifully. It's been usually got here in the UK and we don't have air conditioning so it's been awesome during the day (as I'm a sun person!) But awful of a night x
