Greetings, dear readers! For today's blog post, I have the nail art I created for the 52 Week Nail Art Challenge. The prompt for this week is "glitter". I toyed with a few different ideas, but I knew I wanted something other than just layering a coat of glitter topper on my nails. That being said, I knew my design needed to be pretty simple so the glitter would still be the primary focus of the design.
In the end, I opted to create the angled glitter manicure design as shown here in this post. I started off with China Glaze Liquid Leather as my base. I then applied Different Dimension Orbital at an angle across my nails. To complete the look, I added striping tape from Born Pretty Store. I smoothed the final design out by adding a couple coats of Glass top coat by Ellagee.
While I was admittedly less than thrilled with the glitter prompt, I really did enjoy creating this design. Next week's prompt is "Garnet". At the moment, I have no idea what I want to create, but I'm looking forward to playing around with a few ideas.
Until next time, dear readers, have a wonderful day!
XO!
