Revisiting Polish Con: New Orleans, Spring 2019

Greetings, dear readers! I hd hoped to get this post up last week once I got back from Polish Con, but the return home shockingly took a lot out of me. While later than expected, I'm still eager to share photos I took at the event with you. This way, those that couldn't be there can still experience some of the event, and those that were present can relive some of their favorite moments.

Ready? Let's check in at the door and do this!

Polish Con New Orleans was put together and run by Miranda of Ever After Polish.

Beads could be found at every table and were handed out to customers with each purchase. Some people kept them in their bags while others proudly displayed them as they walker the floor.

Resorting the polish display at The Great Lakes Lacquer booth!

A stop at the Necessary Evil booth!

Those looking for nail art supplies could shop with Whats Up Nails for stamping plates, vinyl stencils and more!

I'm not sure if I was more excited by the King Cake Scrub or the sparkled skull at the Don Deeva booth!

Pepper Pot Polish has a lovely rainbow of colours on display at their booth.

Many brands had exclusives for the event.

Many displays were influenced by New Orleans, and masks could be found at several, including those at Sassy Sauce Polish.

New Orleans based Kathleen & Co was one of the brands on site.

Tonic Nail Polish fans could pick up shirts and lip paint in addition to polish!

Bottles couldn't be opened at the convention, so many had swatch wheel at their tables, like these from Ethereal Lacquer.

Some brands, like Girly Bits Cosmetics, has extra bottles of their VIP polishes available for purchase at their booths.

Bright nail polishes and crawfish could be found at the Leesha's Lacquer booth.

While it's easy to buy nail polish online, you just don't quite get the interactions as you do at Polish Con!

Blush Lacquers was present to keep everyone pastel-ready for spring.

Bowl of assorted shades by Poetry Cowgirl Nail Polish

Quixotic Polish and all brands present put so much thought into how they wanted to display their goods!

The squeeze tubes of Ever After Polish's Cuticle Crelly makes the product even more portable!

I spied Adrienne of Fair Maiden Polish at the booth. I love seeing all the personalities at the show!

Alter Ego Nail Enamels were on site with both regular sized bottles and smaller bottles for those wanted to maximize their budgets and try out more shades.

Aurora Nail Lacquer went with a peacock colour scheme at their booth.

Turtle Tootsie Polishes brought a large assortment of lip balms in addition to their polishes!

The Polish Pickup had a booth where they sold excess bottles of previously released shades. All proceeds from purchases made at the event were donated to the New Orleans Women and Children's Center.

New brand but not new maker Rogue Lacquer came with event exclusives, regular collections and grab bags featuring a mystery shade and a grab bag exclusive shade.

While Bee's Knees Lacquer couldn't be present with the full brand lineup, there was a table with the exclusives that were created for the event could be purchased.

JReine is another Louisiana based brand, and just about everything had a touch of NoLa to it.

While it may be called Thigh Gap, this Ever After product can be used anywhere you can experience chaffing, from thighs to inner arms and even to help protect feet from your sandals.

Girly Bits Cosmetics brought their new spring collection.

Lina Nail Art Supplies brought a large selection of stamping plates, including their new Queen of the Carnival plate. I've already got another trip to New Orleans in the back of my mind so it will be getting a lot of love. I also like the etched Polish Con design so I can sport it on all my future Polish Con adventures!

I hope you have enjoyed this little stop at Polish Con New Orleans!

For those interested in attending a future Polish Con, be sure to keep an eye on the website and join the Facebook group! While the date hasn't been announced yet, the next Polish Con is currently slated to be in New York City in September 2019. If you are able to make it, I definitely encourage the trip!

Until next time, dear readers, have a wonderful day!
XO!
