Good morning, dear readers! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! My hubby and I took our two little foxes trick-or-treating for a little bit before returning home and handing out candy ourselves. I'm a little sad Halloween is over already, but I now have a lot of time to plan for next Halloween!
Now that Halloween is over, I'm not really inspired to create nail art so I decided to participate in the November challenge by Instagrammer clairestelle8. I'm not sure that I'll do every prompt (in fact, I would be shocked if I do them all), but at least I have a fun guideline for inspiration until my own creative juices start flowing again. The first prompt is Under the Sea, and since that's a theme I always love, I couldn't resist creating a look! Let's do this!

I apparently took the prompt very seriously- I chose Sea Colored Glasses by Cupcake Polish to get me started! This was a Facebook group custom shade, so while it isn't publicly available for sale, you may find it in a destash.
Now for my final look!
Now for my final look!
I stamped Zoya Purity with the bubble stamping image from the LeaLaC LLC-B stamping plate. The plate is no longer available for purchase, but you might have luck finding it second hand! I then added vinyl decals from YouPolish. These ARE available for purchase, and you can save 10% off your order with discount code jediwife10. I completed this look by adding studs from Born Pretty Store. You can save 10% off your purchase price by using discount code QWL91.
I am LOVING this look, and I am quite amused that the first week that actually feels like fall around here has such summery nails. The next theme is Woodland. I have no idea yet how I want to do my nails for this prompt, but I suspect it will end up being more fall-like.
I hope you've enjoyed today's nail art look!
Until next time, dear readers, have a wonderful day!
XO!
These are perfect under the sea nails, lovely! Oh, and if you're still doing turtle Tuesdays then plate VL-4 from aliexpress has a cute turtle image on it.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm taking a little break from Turtle Tuesdays for the time being, but thank you for the heads up about the plate! I'll have to check it out! :D
DeleteI love your layering!! Its so well put together and fun! :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! I'm pretty proud of these!
DeleteThis is perfect for the theme!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteI love all the layers and elements you've got going here! Except now you've got me humming Little Mermaid songs...
ReplyDeleteHahaha! I kept singing it to myself every time I looked at my nails. :D
DeleteThe color alone had me drooling then your mani just slayed it. Absolutely love the under the sea theme. Makes me think of nails the little mermaid would wear haha.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I was channeling my inner mermaid when I came up with this design. <3
DeleteOh geez, this is fantastic!I love all the layers!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
Deletehow you manage two wee kids and still have amazing nails, I will never understand.
ReplyDeleteHaha, thank you! I tend to spend all day doing my nails- I start with the base colour during nap time and then work on some art during the next naptime in the early evening. Everything gets finished after they've gone to bed at night. It's definitely a process, but it's far better than staying up all night!
