Greetings, dear readers! I'm short on time, so I'm going to cut the chit chat and get right in on today's post, which is what you really want anyway! I've been back at it playing with nail art looks, and the shades Glazed & Confused and Thyme On My Hands from the KBShimmer All The Fall Things in particular really caught my attention. When I realized Glazed & Confused contained gorgeous colour-shifting flakes that included a shift to green, I just knew I had to pair them together! Holding the two bottles together gave off an air of class and sophistication, and I had to turn the combo into something a little designer. I hope you like it!
Because flakes already suspended in polish aren't exactly the most cooperative when it comes to nail art, Glazed & Confused was immediately selected as the base polish for this design. I digging through my assortment of nail art supplies, I spotted these Louis Vuitton loose glitter pieces and just had to add them to the look!
Now I'm not exactly known as a designer girl- I couldn't tell you which styles are new each year and I definitely couldn't spot a fake unless the make is atrocious, but even I can recognize the iconic quatrefoil pattern of Louis Vuitton! Rather that covering up the beautiful flakes of Glazed & Confused, I opted to create a modified quatrefoil tip with Thyme On My Hands.
Once painted, I popped on the glitter Luis Vuitton logos and topped my nails off with two coats of top coat.
While traditional designer patterns aren't to my taste, I actually love the look of these nails! It was quick and easy to create, and I feel so fancy! It's nice to set my usual preferences aside, especially when it inspires something like this!
What sort of nail art designs would you like to see me create next? I'd love to hear from you!
Until next time, dear readers, have a wonderful day!
XO!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great way to combine these two shades. I'd like to see a star instead of the initials but the VL stands out nicely.
