KBShimmer: Polish Con New York City Exclusives

Greetings, dear readers! I hope your week has been off to a wonderful start! For today's blog post, I have the pleasure of sharing two KBShimmer shades that have been created for the upcoming Polish Con in New York. Vibrant and dazzling, these shades are exquisite and a beautiful addition to the KBShimmer family. Let's check them out!

We Make Your Dreams Come Blue

We Make Your Dreams Come Blue is an icy blue jelly polish. We loaded the jelly base with holographic micro flakes and shimmer. These flakes glow in the light, while turquoise shimmer pops through the flakes for a glowy aqua polish, in other lights you can almost catch a periwinkle or sky blue color. 2-3 coats recommended

What a gorgeous shade of blue! The icy blue base shade is beautiful on its own, but the flashes of turquoise adds a gorgeous twist. And those holographic micro flakes and shimmer! This polish truly is dazzling! The formula is flawless as it applied perfectly for me. While I only needed two coats for opacity, those that paint with ultra thin coats or have long nails will likely need to use three coats.

Grand Prospect Holo

Grand Prospect Holo is a truly unique multichrome that we blended with several different pigments to shift from a teal green, to aqua blue, to purple and sometimes even navy. This spectrum of color is accented by a scattering of holo glitters, similar to our mega flame finish. This polish is very unique, and it looks different in varying forms of light. In soft, indirect light, you see more of the greens and purples, while brighter light brings out the blues and holo. In strong sunlight, the holo really shines and the polish looks teal and green, and sometimes it appears almost like a dark navy. It really is amazing how many personalities this polish has. 2-3 coats recommended

Grand Prospect Holo is a much darker version of We Make Your Dreams Come Blue. While it is more complex in that it has several colour shifts, it still has a similar feel with the colour shift and extra sparkles. This polish is majestic and needs to be seen in person to truly appreciate it in all its glory! The formula of Grand Prospect Holo is spectacular and the application on point! I do feel like it is a little more pigmented that the other shade from this set, and I suspect most people would find two coats sufficient to cover any visible nail line, barring ultra thin coats or long nails, of course.

These shades will be sold exclusively at Polish Con on April 29th. If you are unable to attend, you'll need to find someone that is attending to pick up these beauties for you. They are stunning and need to be part of every lacquerista's collection!
