The Makeup Show NYC took place on May 5th and 6th at the Metropolitan Pavilion. This year, the show brought a great platform for attendees to network, learn, get inspired, and receive amazing deals from some of the most innovative indie brandsto the top beauty brands in the world! It also rang in more than 5,000 attendees that traveled in from all around the world including Australia, Russia, Ireland and England, and, nearly 200 members of the media and buyers, over 100 beauty brands, and more than 110 educational sessions on 8 demo stages.

Over 110 Educational Opportunities: This year The Makeup Show NYC had more education than ever before, with over 110 opportunities spanning across the 8 demo stages! Seminars and main stage presentations have become a staple for artists to learn tips, tricks and techniques for career advancement. The show featured an exclusive lineup of today’s greatest celebrity artists including Daniel Martin, Tabatha Coffey, Erin Parsons, Danessa Myricks, Natasha Denona, James Vincent,
Damone Roberts, and many more. Each speaker covered a range of topics and themes such as innovation, trends and signature celebrity style.
The Beauty Brunch: The Beauty Brunch was a perfect kick off to the weekend! This industry event brought 100 members of the media together and top makeup artists including Dick Page, Daniel Martin, Colleen Runné, Matin, Pati Dubroff, Sam Visser, Kabuki, Tracy Murphy, Hung Vanngo, and many international artists. This was a great way for press and makeup artist to mingle with fellow industry peers in a more intimate setting. Sipping on cocktails from Ketel One Botanical and
connecting with their favorite brands, artists, and press.
NYC Nights Fashion Show: From the famous uptown ball scene to the East village underground drag and the boroughs dance halls, New York City night life influenced music, fashion and makeup. On Sunday evening, The Makeup Show NYC celebrated these iconic places and the people who made them with NYC Nights, a cocktail event with a fashion presentation featuring look after look from local artists and The Makeup Show brands. Attendees listened to the music of well-known NYC DJ’s, watched drag done the NYC way and mingled with makeup peers while looks were being served.
