I've been working out a tentative testing and posting schedule for my beauty samples from the recent Cosmoprof North America (CPNA), so if there is something in particular you want to see more of sooner rather than later, please let me know! Now on to today's CPNA post!
One of my favorite stops while attending CPNA is a visit to the BOUTIQUE sampling bar. Each of the twenty deluxe travel-sized is specially selected to represent the latest in up-and-coming cosmetics, skin care, nails, and hair. Attendees visiting BOUTIQUE are provided with a sturdy pink box and encouraged to select seven different items from the sampling bar. Once you had selected your samples, a $10 donation was collected for the Look Good Feel Better program. This non-medical program teaches beauty techniques to women with cancer that are undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, and other forms of treatments. Lessons include skin care and cosmetics, nails, styling and accessories, and wigs and turbans, providing women the opportunity to have some normalcy in their lives during a difficult time.
I love that CPNA runs such fundraising efforts through BOUTIQUE, and I naturally had to participate. After deliberating on several different products, I selected my samples and paid my donation.

MyChelle Dermaceuticals | Refining Sugar Cleanser
Natural sugar and intoxicating vanilla-infused multi-tasking cleanser that gently exfoliates and moisturizes as it transforms into a creamy, foamy lather leaving skin radiant and refined.
I am a huge fan of sugar scrubs, but I've not tried this particular brand before CPNA. I probably would have avoided it due to my not-so-warm feelings towards vanilla, but I found the vanilla scent to be subtle so I don't mind applying this to my skin. I also found this exfoliant to be gentle on my sensitive skin.
Nairian | Night Serum, Nourishing & Rejuvenating
This is an overnight mask. The thick texture is great to soothe chapped skin. Key ingredients: Coconut, Apricot kernel, Sea Buckthorn, Rosehip seed, Almond oils.
How beautiful is this! This rich balm is made in Armenia and meant to be worn overnight, where the assorted oils can soak into the skin and deliver their anti-aging properties. As much as I enjoy this product, it is a little too heavy in oils for me, especially over the hot summer season. I definitely look forward to using this more often when my skin gets drier over the winter!
Naked Princess | Naked Princess Moisturizing Hand Creme
Enriched with Vitamin E and Aloe, this lightweight Hand Creme containing Coconut, Argan and Avocado oils, absorbs quickly, leaving skin feeling soft and hydrated.
Between constant nail polish swatching and washing my hands often with two dirt-loving little boys, I use a lot of hand cremes! While I admittedly previously associated the brand with loungewear and lingerie, I was eager to try out their Moisturizing Hand Creme in the scent Boudoir Blush. It is scented with pink peppercorn, white lilies, rose and notes of jasmine, and it is positively delightful! Not only is the floral scent soft and far from overbearing, this hand creme absorbs beautifully without a greasy finish. I found that a little goes a long way, and I have my eye on their other scents and remaining beauty product offerings.

I have used and enjoyed other Pur-Lisse products (the 4-in-1 Cleansing Milk is phenomenal if you have extra funds to spend on your beauty routine!), but this is the first I'm trying to Blue Lotus Seed Mask + Exfoliant. This product has left my skin so smooth and I'm amazed at how much it glows! I was a little nervous that it would be too harsh for my combination + sensitive skin, especially since it is a little coarser than my skin normally likes, but so far, it has worked incredibly well for me!

While it does have a citrus scent, I find it to be very light and not overpowering. While the formula is thinner than that of the Naked Princess hand creme I also picked up (shown above), it is still very moisturizing and absorbs nicely into the skin. Royal Apothic offers other scent options that I look forward to trying in the future!
